Playa Blanca

Home to some of the Islands most spectacular beaches, The resort town of Playa Blanca is situated on the southern coast of Lanzarote, a half hours drive from Arrecife Airport. This tranquil coast has stunning views across the sea to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. Perfect for easy walking, Playa Blanca is mostly flat and often has the least wind, and highest temperatures on the island due to its sheltered location.

Montaña Roja, a spectacular red Volcano sits to the west beside Villa butterfly, hike to the top for the best panoramic views of the area. The town has a busy tourist centre with plenty of shops, supermarkets and services. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, stroll along the seaside promenade exploring the many beaches, bars and restaurants, or keep walking west to discover the lighthouse, Faro de Pechiguera. Walking east you will find Marina Rubicon, which hosts markets Wednesdays and Saturday mornings. Here you’ll find high quality restaurants, tapas bars, and shopping in a gorgeous setting, surrounded by beautiful yachts in the marina.
